Inside the Game

The interface presents two playing fields: yours and that of your opponent (human or AI). Pairs of colored blobs called pups will fall down. By sliding and taping the screen, you should turn them around and place them in order to form groups of four pups of the same color that will blow up. To spice up the game, the performance of a player allows him to send malus to his opponent. This malus takes the form of balls of glass that make it harder for him to complete his groups of four pups. In addition, if in the process of blowing up four pups, other pups are rearranged to form another set of four, your opponent gets a whole row of glass balls! The idea is to get your opponent to overflow his screen before you. Very simple, the difficulty of the game increases while your opponent becomes stronger and the game faster.

Problems
1. Only has 1 player mode. 2. Girl crys if you lose, WAIT A MINUTE!!!! THE GIRL CRYS IF YOU LOSE????? FIX IT, ADD 2 PLAYER MODE OR ENDLESS!!!! 1 STAR UNTIL PROBLEMS ARE FIXED!!!! X(((
Good app, but ...
Good app, but paid version isnt much more than the free version except a few more opponents.
not so good.
Its really just awful. Frame rate runs low when there are too many blobs first of all. That completely ruins the game. In fact, youll have to turn on low detail to make it run decently. Which brings me to the graphics. Theyre awful. Idk how you could manage to mess up drawing a blob with eyes but they did somehow. The characters in the game are seriously messed up looking, ranging from a giant brown rat to a zombie bear (?) to an elderly Chinese man. Sound effects.. Theyre the worst. Dont worry, you cant play your iPod music while this app is running. Oh, so the music. Well, The game starts out with a really catchy synthy song with a voice going ppuuyoo puuuyyooo in the background. Its catchy for like 2 minutes then it gets annoying, but dont worry because that song stops around level 3 and for the remainder of the game a japanese guitar plays god knows what, its so bad youll probably mute your phone. Im not kidding. Its a really, really bad song. So what else to complain about, well, the controls are awful. You cant make quick moves when your puyos get high because you have to slide your finger, then tap one to three times depending on which way you wanna drop the puyos. Chances are you wont be able to do it in time. Puyos also break too slow which messes up the game because while you have a chain reaction going, the other player can counter or brace pretty easily. Its not like they wanted to make counter attacking part of the game though. Dont get me wrong thatd be cool if they had a game type where you could do that. But no. They just messed up. Then the boulders drop really slow and go tink tink when they hit, its just awful. They drop too slow. That messes the game up. So should you buy this? Probably not unless youre a big fan of puyopuyo games and really really wanna be able to play when youre not at home to play bean machine or Kirbys avalanche or something. So I guess its fun and all. If you really like these games then the dollar could be worth it. If not then dont bother.
